Ergo Diamond Plate Rail Covers
Provides rubbery grip surface for improved weapon control and protects the operator from sharp rail edges and unmounted rail areas from damage. Prevents damage to gear, such as rappelling ropes, that may be abraded or cut by uncovered rail sections. Long covers 15 slots, 1 cover required per M-4 rail section. Can be used as Camouflage Carrier.
Full cover rail covers make excellent camouflage carriers. Punch 3-4 holes along each edge and slit them to the edge so the hole is not solid. Lace nylon cord across the cover and into the holes. Leave 3-4 inches on each end. Pull the laces up, insert the camo material and pull the laces tight. The advantage is the easy installation and removal.
Note, do not punch holes in handguards, Heat may melt laces. Also remember, your rifle needs to dissipate heat through holes in handguards.
